The Aston Martin DB5 debuted in 1963 as an updated version of the DB4 Series V. Powered by a Tadek Marek-designed 4.0-liter inline-six engine, it produced 282 horsepower and could reach a top speed of about 145 mph.

Aston Martin built the DB5 for just two years before it was replaced by the DB6 in 1965\. A total of 1,059 DB5s were produced, including 123 convertibles.

The DB5 became famous after appearing in the 1964 James Bond film *Goldfinger*. It later appeared in several other Bond films, including *Thunderball*, *GoldenEye*, *Skyfall*, *Spectre*, and *No Time to Die*.

The Hot Wheels casting is based on a heavily modified Aston Martin DB5 built for off-roading. It features a roof rack, rally lights, and a spare tire out the back window.

The Ridge Crest GT is an original Hot Wheels casting designed as an off-road muscle car. Its wheel arches were inspired by 1972 Pontiacs.

The Fiat S76 Record, nicknamed “The Beast of Turin,” is an early land speed record car built in 1911 by Fiat. It was created during a fierce rivalry among manufacturers competing for the fastest car in the world.

Power came from a massive 28.4 liter four cylinder engine producing about 300 horsepower. Each cylinder displaced about 7.1 liters, meaning a single cylinder was larger than the entire engine in many modern sports cars. The huge pistons and long stroke helped give the car its large hood and distinctive shape.

In 1911, the S76 reached speeds of about 135 mph at Saltburn Sands in England, making it one of the fastest machines on earth at the time. Although it could not complete the official return run needed for a world record, the car was widely recognized as the fastest vehicle of its era.

The Dino 206 GT is a mid engine sports car produced by Ferrari under the Dino brand from 1967 to 1969\. It was named after Alfredo Dino Ferrari and created as a lighter and more affordable alternative to Ferrari’s V12 models.

The car featured an aluminum body designed by the masters at Pininfarina and hand-built by Scaglietti. It was powered by a 2.0 liter V6 engine mounted sideways behind the driver, producing about 180 horsepower.

Only 152 examples of the Dino 206 GT were built before it was replaced by the Dino 246 GT, making it rare and highly sought after.

Vairstrike is a heavily modified version of a 1966 Chevrolet Corvair, with a name that blends Corvair and airstrike.

The Chevrolet Corvair is a compact car produced by Chevrolet from 1960 to 1969\. It stood out for using a rear mounted, air cooled flat six engine, a layout uncommon for American cars and more often seen in European designs like Porsche and Volkswagen.

The second generation Corvair arrived in 1965 with updated styling and major mechanical changes, including a fully independent rear suspension similar in design to the Corvette. These updates improved handling and stability, but the car’s image was hurt by safety criticism in the 1960s, and Chevrolet later ended production as it shifted focus to more conventional models like the Camaro.

Twin Tags is an original Hot Wheels casting that also doubles as a luggage tag or keychain. It includes a slot for a name card and a hole at the front for attaching a keyring, with a design inspired by the HW Braille Racer Twin Mill.

The blister card includes a section on the back that can be cut out and inserted into the car to create a bag tag.

The Mitsubishi Starion is a rear wheel drive sports car produced from 1982 to 1989\. It was sold in some markets under the Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth brands as the Conquest.

Power came from a turbocharged 2.6 liter inline four engine known as the G54B, producing about 145 to 188 horsepower depending on the year and market. The rear wheel drive layout, widebody fenders, and available limited slip differential helped it compete with rivals like the Nissan 300ZX and Mazda RX-7.

The name “Starion” is often said to have come from a mispronunciation of “Stallion,” though Mitsubishi has never confirmed this. The company has stated the name refers to “Star of Arion,” a reference to Greek mythology.
