The 2004 Subaru Forester STi is the same as the one in the 2024 *Car Culture: Modern Classics* series, while the 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX Wagon is a brand-new casting.

The 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX Wagon was a Japan-only model that combined the performance of the Evo IX sedan with the practicality of a wagon. It used a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4G63 engine with Mitsubishi’s all-wheel-drive system and active center differential, producing about 286 horsepower.

It came with either a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission and did not include the sedan’s Super Active Yaw Control (S-AYC) system. The wagon weighed around 3,450 pounds and could reach 60 mph in about 5.5 seconds, with a quarter-mile time around 14.5 seconds.

Around 2,900 examples were produced for Japan, making it a rare and desirable version of the Evolution IX today. Its limited production and market exclusivity have made it one of the hardest Evo models to find outside Japan.

Both vehicles have new liveries, and this is the first premium release of the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT.

The Porsche 935 sports a new livery, while the 2018 Porsche 935 is nearly identical to the version released in the *Hot Wheels Boulevard* series as #87.
