The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO is a more track-focused version of the second-generation AMG GT. Introduced for the 2025 model year, it features more power and upgrades designed for track use while remaining street legal.

Power comes from a hand-built 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing 603 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 26 horsepower over the GT 63\. The engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and Mercedes-AMG's fully variable 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system.

Mercedes says the GT 63 PRO can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 197 mph.

To improve performance during extended track sessions, the GT 63 PRO adds water-cooled front and rear differentials, a water-cooled transfer case, standard carbon-ceramic brakes, rear-wheel steering, and revised aerodynamics with a fixed rear wing.

The 2025 BMW M5 is the seventh generation of BMW's performance sedan. Introduced for the 2025 model year, it is the first M5 to use a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It combines a twin-turbocharged V8 with an electric motor and can also drive short distances on electric power alone.

Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 paired with an electric motor, producing a combined 717 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain is backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission and BMW's M xDrive all-wheel-drive system.

BMW says the M5 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 mph with the optional M Driver's Package. The hybrid system includes a 14.8-kWh battery that provides an EPA-estimated electric driving range of up to 25 miles.

The M5 also features adaptive suspension, rear-wheel steering, and selectable all-wheel-drive modes, including a rear-wheel-drive setting for track use. The added hybrid components increase curb weight to about 5,390 pounds.
