The 1992 Jeep Wrangler Sahara returns in the 2015 movie *Jurassic World*, more than 20 years after the Jeeps first appeared in *Jurassic Park*. Brothers Zach and Gray find two of the abandoned Jeeps in the old Jurassic Park Visitor Center garage and get one running to escape back to the park.

The Jeep they drive is number 29, which originally appeared in *Jurassic Park* carrying John Hammond and Donald Gennaro. The Jeeps were 1992 Wrangler Saharas painted Sand Beige with red stripes.

The GMC Vandura was B.A. Baracus' van in the television series *The A-Team*, which ran from 1983 to 1987\. B.A. was played by Mr. T, and the van was the team's main vehicle throughout the series.

Several vans were used during filming, including GMC Vanduras and Chevrolet G-Series vans modified to look the same. Different vans were used for regular driving, interior scenes, and stunts.

Although the A-Team van is often remembered as all black with a red stripe, the upper section of the TV van was actually dark metallic gray. Some earlier toys and replicas have depicted the van as all black, while this Hot Wheels release uses the gray upper section.

A black 1965 Lincoln Continental is featured in the 1999 movie *The Matrix*. Even though the movie car is a 1965 model, Hot Wheels uses the '64 Lincoln Continental casting to recreate it.

Trinity, Switch, and Apoc pick up Neo in the car before taking him to meet Morpheus. The same Continental is used later when the crew visits the Oracle.

One of the car's most memorable scenes comes when Trinity removes the tracking device, or "bug," from Neo. The Continental's rear-hinged rear doors are clearly visible during the scene.

This Hot Wheels release is nearly identical to the 2022 *Replica Entertainment: The Matrix* release.

The Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet is the single-seat version of the Super Hornet used by the U.S. Navy. Introduced into service in 1999, the fighter can reach speeds of more than Mach 1.6 and is designed to operate from aircraft carriers.

The F/A-18 Super Hornet was featured in the 2022 movie *Top Gun: Maverick*, including the movie's final mission. The Navy provided real Super Hornets for filming, but the actors were not allowed to fly them. Instead, they rode in the rear seats of two-seat F/A-18F Super Hornets flown by Navy pilots.

Cameras were mounted inside the cockpits to film the actors during actual flights. Tom Cruise and the other actors also completed months of flight training to prepare for the G-forces they would experience during filming.

This Hot Wheels release is nearly identical to the 2024 *Pop Culture: Top Gun: Maverick* release.

K.I.T.T. is the black 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am featured in the television series *Knight Rider*, which debuted in 1982\. Short for Knight Industries Two Thousand, K.I.T.T. was a car with artificial intelligence and was voiced by William Daniels.

Dozens of Trans Ams were used during the show's four-season run, including cars modified for jumps and other stunts. Pontiac reportedly asked that the Trans Am name not be mentioned on the show because dealers were overwhelmed with customers wanting their own K.I.T.T.

K.I.T.T.'s red scanner light was inspired by the Cylons from *Battlestar Galactica*. Both *Knight Rider* and *Battlestar Galactica* were created by television producer Glen A. Larson.

This Hot Wheels release is nearly identical to the 2025 *Pop Culture: Knight Rider* release.
