The Toyota Prius debuted in Japan in December 1997 and reached the United States in mid-2000 as the world’s first mass-produced hybrid passenger car. It combined a small gasoline engine and an electric motor to cut fuel consumption and emissions.
Over more than 25 years and 5 generations, the Prius has become one of the world’s best-selling hybrids, surpassing 5 million global sales.
The Hot Wheels casting includes a custom widebody kit and is based on Director of Product Design Jimmy Liu’s personal Prius. It comes in two variations, one with a roof box and one without.

X-cceleron is a futuristic Hot Wheels hypercar created as a tie in to the AcceleRacers series and represents the level of technology used by the Accelerons.
Accelerons are an advanced alien race that created the Racing Realms, which are dangerous alternate dimensions built around specific driving challenges like extreme terrain, weather, and obstacles to test a driver’s speed, skill, and control.
The design of the X-cceleron takes inspiration from the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, a high speed U.S. reconnaissance aircraft developed during the Cold War.

The Volkswagen ID. Buzz is a fully electric van that began production in 2022 and is built on Volkswagen’s MEB platform. It was designed to revive the spirit of the classic VW Microbus while adding modern electric-vehicle technology.
The U.S. version for 2025 comes standard with rear-wheel drive and an all-wheel-drive version is also available. Range is estimated at 234 miles for the rear-wheel-drive model and about 231 miles for the all-wheel-drive version.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri is a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer unveiled on May 3, 2024, in Miami. It replaced the 812 Superfast and serves as Ferrari’s flagship V12 model.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It can go from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed above 211 miles per hour.
Pricing for the Ferrari 12Cilindri starts at about $464,000 for the coupe in the United States, while the Spider version begins around $515,000.
