How to identify Hot Wheels cases

U.S. Card

The 1983 Chevy Silverado is part of the third generation of Chevrolet C/K trucks, which were produced from 1973 to 1987.

Designated the "Rounded Line" by General Motors, this generation of trucks has been dubbed the "square body" by fans.

International Card

Square body trucks are characterized by their boxy, angular styling, which distinguishes them from earlier and later generations.

Square bodies were the first generation of C/K trucks designed using advanced computer modeling and wind tunnel testing, resulting in reduced drag and increased fuel efficiency.

Short Card

The third-generation Silverado prioritized driver comfort and convenience with a roomier cabin, improved ventilation, a quieter ride, and a smoother suspension.

The name "Silverado" was first used as the top trim level for Chevrolet trucks in the third generation.

Loose

In 1978, the C/K also became the first full-size American pickup to offer a diesel engine option.

Regular Mainline

The square body is the longest-produced version of the C/K model, manufactured for 18 years, and has become one of Chevrolet's most popular models due to its simple, timeless design.

This is one of my favorite Super Treasure Hunts of 2024. Like it?
