La Liebre
La Liebre, a custom race car based on a 1968 Ford Falcon, was the winner of the 2024 Hot Wheels Legends Tour.
In 2013, Giuseppe Casagrande and Maurizio Moschini co-founded Cars and Coffee Chile, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering Chile’s car community and culture. As part of their mission to engage local automotive fans, they launched the La Liebre project.
The team started with a Ford Falcon and turned it into a powerhouse with a custom-built Chevrolet 350 engine producing 600 horsepower. Its chassis was heavily modified with a tubular frame, roll cage, and lightweight fiberglass body, bringing the car’s weight to under 2,000 pounds.
