The Pantone set is in assortment JNN67 and ships in 6-count cases.

The cars are inspired by the Pantone Matching System used around the world to standardize color. Pantone began in the 1950s as a commercial printing business in New Jersey before Lawrence Herbert reorganized it in 1963 and introduced the numbered system that allows designers and printers to match the same shade across different materials and locations.

Today, the Pantone system is used in graphic design, packaging, fashion, product manufacturing, and interior design. The company also produces physical color guides for fabrics and materials and offers digital tools that help users match real world colors to official Pantone standards.

Pantone launched its Color of the Year program in 2000 to highlight a shade it believes will influence design trends. The 2026 Color of the Year is PANTONE 11-4201 Cloud Dancer, a soft off white tone meant to reflect calmness, simplicity, and a focus on clean, minimal design.
