Candy Striper - 1:18 '55 Chevy Bel Air Gasser - Red Line Club (Update)
A 1:18 scale '55 Chevy Bel Air Gasser will be the next crowdfunding event for the Red Line Club.
The Gasser will require 10,000 backers to pre-purchase the car in order for it to be produced. If the target isn't reached the car will not be made.
Crowdfunding will begin on Tuesday, September 12, at 9 am PT and will end on October 9, 2023 at 11:59 pm PT. The cost of the car is $250.
As the number of backers reaches different milestones additional features will be added.
Update: The Red Line Club has improved the milestones for the Gasser. The 1:64 Candy Striper is now included at 10,000 backers.

1:18 Candy Striper
With 10,000 backers, the 1:18 scale Candy Striper with Spectraflame pink paint and rubber wheels will be made.
The Gasser will have an engine with rubber spark plug wires and multiple components.
Additional features include an opening hood, opening doors, cloth seat belts with laser-etched buckles, and working steering.
Replica 1:64 "Candy Striper"
With 13,000 backers, a replica 1:64 scale'55 Chevy Bel Air Gasser "Candy Striper" will be included.
The original '55 Chevy Bel Air Gasser "Candy Striper" was a 2015 Red Line Club release that was individually numbered and limited to 4,000.
Being highly sought-after, the original Candy Striper now consistently commands prices well in excess of $1,000.
Smoke Stands + Flames
With 16,000 backers, plug-in flame exhausts and smoke stands that allow the Gasser to be displayed performing a wheelie will be included.
Display Base + Background
With 19,000 backers, a black base and a dragstrip background will be included. Each set will also be individually numbered.
If all targets are reached, backers will receive a 1:18 Candy Striper, a 1:64 Candy Striper, smoke stands & exhaust flames, and the display base with a background.
