The Acura, Corvette, and Porsche are the chase cars and the only models based on real vehicles. The remaining cars, numbered 4 through 10, are fantasy castings featuring reused liveries from past releases.

Hot Wheels Mystery Models are assortment Y8127 and can be found in 24-count shelf displays. Each Mystery Models pack includes a car and a matching sticker. In the U.S., they can be found at Walmart.

Packaging

Mystery Models come packaged in foil packs that hide the vehicle, but you can usually determine what car is inside. On the back of a pack, by the flap, there should be a code with “/01,” “/02,” “/03,” etc.

The “/01” code, circled in red, indicates that car number 1 is inside the pack. If the code were “/02,” it would indicate car number 2, and so on.
