'64 Prince Skyline GT
The Prince Skyline GT is a high-performance variant of the Prince Skyline, produced before Prince Motor Company merged with Nissan in 1966. This model laid the foundation for the future success of the Nissan Skyline series.
Introduced in 1964, Prince Skyline GT models were equipped with a 2.0-liter G-7 inline-six engine. To accommodate the larger engine, the car featured a longer nose than the standard Skyline.
The initial release of the Prince Skyline GT was extremely limited, with only 100 units produced: 92 road cars for homologation purposes and 8 dedicated for racing.
'72 Toyota Corolla Levin
The 1972 Toyota Corolla Levin marked the debut of Toyota's sporty Corolla variant. It featured a 5-speed manual transmission and a 1.6-liter 2T-G twin-cam engine, producing around 115 horsepower.
Available as a two-door coupe, the '72 Levin boasted sportier styling than the standard Corolla, with a more aggressive front grille and additional body accents. Inside, the car has a driver-focused interior with a more performance-oriented dashboard.
The 1972 Corolla Levin marked the beginning of Toyota's focus on producing performance-oriented compact cars, laying the groundwork for future iconic models like the AE86.
